How do I begin using Online Banking?

On the home page select First Time User. Enter your primary account number and call 320-231-1118 to receive your 4-digit password. This will prompt you to enter a new Access ID and Password, you will use this going forward to log in to Online Banking. Finish the setup steps to finalize your enrollment.

What if I forget my password or have trouble logging in?

If you have a current email address entered in our system, enter your access ID, then click on the ‘Forget your password’ link on the login page and a temporary password will be emailed you. If you still cannot login call 320-231-1118, and we will issue you a new temporary password.

Can I change my password?

Yes, log in to your Online Banking account and click on Profile at the top of the page. Here you are allowed to change some of your personal information.

Can I transfer funds to or from my accounts at another institution?

You can transfer money between your Home State Bank accounts and accounts you may have at other financial institutions.
1. Log in to Online Banking (from a computer)
2. Click on the Home State Bank account
3. Click on "Bill Pay."
4. Click on "Transfer Money."
5. Click on "Add an account."
6. Follow the steps to complete the registration of accounts at other financial institutions

How often is my account information updated?

Your accounts are updated daily.

Yes! The safety and security of your data are one of our primary concerns. Online Banking is encrypted to ensure your account information is secure.

How do I Enroll in Mobile Banking?

How to Enroll for Mobile Banking:
1. Log in to Online Banking (from a computer)
2. Click on "Profile" in the upper right corner
3. Go to Mobile Banking
4. Click on "Enroll Now"
5. Follow the steps to complete your mobile registration

How do I transfer money to one of my other accounts?

Express Transfer should be used for making a transfer today or to make a payment to your Home State Bank loan (must be completed before 6:00 PM Central Standard Time).

How soon after I submit a transfer will the transaction be processed?

If you do an Express Transfer before 6:00 PM Central Standard Time, the transfer will be processed on that business day. The transfer will not be accepted if you don't have enough money in your account. If you do a Scheduled Transfer, the transfer will be processed on the date you submitted.

Is there a limit of transfers I can make per month?

There is no limit with checking accounts, but there is with savings accounts.  With savings accounts, electronic transfers are limited to 6 transfers per four week period or monthly statement cycle.

Who can I pay with Bill Pay?

Anyone-it can be a company or a person.
